About Neng Gao Club

Located in the heart of Puli Township, Nantou County, "Nenggao Club" was originally established as a recreational club for the Japanese military. It was later remodeled by Dr. Tong Mu-Sheng into a medical clinic and private residence. Today, it stands as the only surviving privately owned Japanese-style wooden structure in Puli.

Through the unique vision of six shareholders with backgrounds in architecture and construction, alongside a meticulous seven-year restoration process, this historic estate has been transformed into a modern Japanese-style guesthouse where heritage seamlessly blends with contemporary living space. Currently managed by Puli's local team, "順騎自然 (545bike)," the property proudly showcases the power of a new era—one driven by community co-creation and the passing of the torch from old to new.
