Located on Xikang Road  in Puli Township, Nantou County, Neng Gao Club is a beautifully restored historical building. It stands as one of the very few privately-owned, well-preserved Japanese-colonial-period wooden structures left in Puli .

 

A Journey Through Time

 

Originally established by the Japanese military in 1920s, the building was later converted into a clinic and residence by Dr. Tong Mu Sheng in 1949.

In 2020, Neng Gao Club B&B opened after seven years of  restoration led by six architects. Now it perfectly embodies a blend of historical architecture and modern Japanese aesthetics.

It is currently managed by a local youth team, showcasing a new era of collaboration between old landmarks and regional revitalization.
